We totally get that! Don't worry, your tween isn't going to look like they are the lost member of KISS. Our makeup artist is THE best in the biz and will apply age appropriate makeup. That means minimal & natural with the purpose to enhance your tween's natural beauty. Makeup will also get them camera-ready so that they look their best in photos. 

As for hair, we recommend coming with hair styled lightly with minimal product. Our artist will fluff and curl as necessary!

We want to give your tween an unparalleled experience & a bit of pampering is part of that experience (and often one of their favorite parts!).

One of the things we are passionate about is sending each of our clients home with archival products to display in their homes. We want each client to have a finished product when their portrait experience is over so that you aren't left with a bunch of digital files that you don't know what to do with! As such, we offer a variety of beautiful, handmade products - from Albums to Wall Art & more. Past clients have found it too overwhelming to go over the pricing of those products before their session. 

Our minimum order requirement ensures that you know what you will be investing with us, but leaves the micro decision-making for your Ordering Appointment - after you have seen your images. 

Our clients love this new approach as it gives them the information that they need up front, but not so much that they get overwhelmed!

Better yet - you only have to pay the session fee to book your session. Your minimum order is payable at the time of your Ordering Appointment.

The studio is located on North Braddock Avenue, near Shadyside in Pittsburgh. It's super easy to get to off of the parkway or Route 30! We rent this studio for our indoor sessions, so day/time availability is dependent on studio availability. Once you book your session, and select a date, we will reach out to the studio to confirm availability and secure it for your session.

Once you book your session, you will be sent a link to my calendar where you can select a date/time for your session. As mentioned above, once you select your date, we will reach out to the studio to confirm availability and secure it for your session. If the studio is not available, we will reach back out to schedule a time that works for you within the studio's available dates!

Your Styling Consultation takes place approximately 2 - 3 weeks before your session at my home studio located in Penn Township. The consultation takes about an hour and both you and your tween should attend.

At this appointment we will discuss your tween's session to see what ideas either of you may have. Don't worry if you don't have any - that's what I'm here for! We will also begin talking about how to choose your outfits for your session.

The main goal of this consultation, however, is a chance to meet your tween and learn more about them. This ensures that their session is a reflection of their personality. It also gets them comfortable with me so that they are more relaxed for their session.  And, when a tween is more relaxed it makes their session way more fun for them!

Wardrobe is one of the biggest pain points for parents. And, if you are going to argue, this is typically where that happens (I'm sure this is nothing new and not a surprise). So, I tell my clients to make me the "bad" guy! For some reason, your tween will likely listen to me more than they will to you, so let me guide them!

As I mentioned above, we will start talking about what to wear at your Styling Consultation. I will send you home with some what to wear guidelines to give you a jumping off point. 

As you begin planning your outfits, I encourage you to send me snapshots of your tween's outfit choices. That way, I can ensure that what they have selected will photograph well on camera (and, I can address any issues that you may be experiencing with outfit choice). 

Do keep in mind, though, that this is THEIR session and part of that is reflecting their personality as it is during this season of their life. You may hate their "grunge" phase now, but may look back on it fondly in years to come;)

The Ordering Appointment is one of my favorite parts of the experience! It's where you and your tween get to view their images for the first time (other than the sneak peek after the session where you get to see a few of my favorites)!

The Ordering Appointment takes place at my home in Penn Township and lasts about 1 - 1 ½ hours. After you view your images, I will help you select your favorites and how you want to display them in your home.

This is NOT a sales-y appointment! My purpose during your Ordering Appointment is to LISTEN to you and help you to select the images and products that YOU love, and that fit your budget & design aesthetic. We offer both collections & a la carte pricing so we have something for every budget.

Your minimum order is payable at this appointment and goes towards any products that you order, so please be sure all decision-makers are present.

Once you have placed your order, it goes into production immediately so that you can have your gorgeous products in hand ASAP!
